Chateau Larmande 2010 Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé 750ML
Dark ruby color with a thick crimson/violet band as it approaches a transparent rim. The nose is effeminately floral with rose petals; notes of candied raspberry, rich Saint Emilion earth, mildly toasted oak, and smoked mushrooms. The palate is dry, medium-to-full-bodied, fleshy in texture with a loamy edge, bright in acidity, and cool in the mouth. Flavors of red cherry, raspberry, plum, dried meat, fig, tobacco, 80% dark chocolate, and espresso are wrapped in a thin cocoon of eucalyptus menthol that dwells far and wide along a far, tapering path to the spicy finish
